Growing up with Bob Moreo in mechanic street and all thru the Boonton school system and both serving in Vietnam in 1968-1969 a true friend . Even though Bob moved to Florida about 10 years ago he would attend every year the Boonton Memorial service every year. Bib was a original member on the Boonton Memorial committee that was formed to honor the 73 men who died in the 4 major wars that where from the Boonton school system . Bob every year would read the 9 names of the Vietnam veterans that where killed in the war and also a special recognition to our boyhood friend mike Zibura who was kliuesv9/18/68. Bob was a charter member of the many kids who grew up on Mechanic Street in Boonton in the 50”s, From Wooton Street to Main Street Bob joined kids from th Zibura, The Curtin,the Freeman, the McDonald, The Sandillo,The De Pasquale, The LoRusso,and neighbors from other streets The Barnish,Osterhoudt,Norvis, Farkas,Bubnick, Peanuts Hayes, Jerry Block and so many other neighborhoods-in making Mechanic Street a special place. Bob was the source of so many fun times-always with a smile and funny comment.
