Jeffrey Joseph Ench
In loving Memory of Jeffrey Joseph Ench.
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Jeffrey Joseph Ench on May 25, 2022, at the age of 51 years. Jeffrey passed away in his home in Poinciana, Florida. He was born on January 10, 1971, at Dover General Hospital in Dover, NJ. He spent his early years in Lake Hopatcong, NJ before he and his family moved to West Orange, NJ in 1977. He attended Our Lady of the Lake grammar school, Seton Hall Preparatory High School, and received a bachelor's degree in Art from Pratt Institute, Brooklyn. Jeffrey was a gifted designer and artist and often would put his creative energy into designing clothing and costumes for friends and family. He turned this passion into a profession when he opened Bridal Elegance on Eagle Rock Avenue in West Orange with his sisters in 1998. Jeffrey was well known for his creative energy and talent, love for cooking and baking, as well as his tremendous sense of humor. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family over dinner or just a simple cup of coffee. He had a warm heart and great love for animals both big and small, filling his home with dogs, cats, turtles, and even a pig.
Jeffrey is survived by his father, Frank “Bo” Ench, Jr.; his sisters Kimberly Rametta, Jennifer Ench, and half-sister Christine D’Amico and his half-brother Frank Ench; as well as his nieces Devin D’Amico and Kyla Dahlin, and his nephews Colton Dahlin, Bohn Ench, and Luke Ench.
Family and friends are welcome to attend his funeral mass at Our Lady of the Lake Church, 26 Lakeside Avenue, Verona at 10:00 am on June 27, 2022. After the mass, we will gather at Gates of Heaven Cemetery, 225 Ridgedale Avenue, East Hanover, where he will be laid to rest with his beloved mother, Dianna Ench.
