Obituary of Lillian Ciullo

Lillian Ciullo, born on March 16, 1930, in Brooklyn, NY, a former resident of Lincoln Park, NJ, and Montville, NJ, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2025. She is now reunited with her beloved late husband, Anthony Ciullo, who preceded her in 1989, and her grandson, Joseph Ciullo, who passed away in 2024.

She is survived by her son, Joseph Ciullo, and his wife, Patricia Ciullo; daughter, Debra Hodgins, and her husband, James Hodgins; her grandchild, Michael Ciullo and his wife, Cristina Ciullo; and the late Joseph Ciullo and his wife, Christine Ciullo. She was also a proud great-grandmother to Michael Angelo, Alessandra Pia, Gabriel Anthony, Lilliana, and Gabriella.

Lillian was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister, sister-in-law, and friend who brought joy to all who knew her. Her love, happiness, and kindness brightened the lives of everyone she met. 

Lillian worked for the Lincoln Park school system for 28 years and volunteered her time as the President of the Lincoln Park Senior Citizen Club. A long-time parishioner of the First Reformed Church of Lincoln Park and embraced her faith and Christian values. Lillian found her greatest happiness surrounded by her family, whether visiting with them or cherishing simple moments around the kitchen table. Her life was a testament to joy and unconditional love.

Lillian’s presence will be deeply missed, but her legacy lives on through the many lives she touched.

Services will be held on January 25th at Dangler Lewis & Carey Funeral Home in Boonton, NJ, from 10am-1pm.

A ceremony at 1:45pm will follow at the cemetery located at 529 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Pompton Plains, NJ. Family and friends are invited to celebrate her legacy and cherish the moments they shared with her.
