Brothers and sisters are special:
They fight, they make up
They laugh, they cry
They are far from perfect
But when you need them
They have your back
John was indeed a great son, husband and father. But he was also the perfect brother.
Thank you John for always being there with a phone call or knock at the door to show loving concern and support.
Thank you for the many loving, fun, crazy memories to carry us through this time of sorrow.
94 years well lived!!
Until we meet again. Love Ya!!

A tribute to my dear sweet father-in-law. When I first met Johnny, I was impacted by his warmth, generosity and kindness. Over the years he became not just my father-in-law but a true father figure to me. His guidance and unwavering support to Scott and I has meant more to me than words can express.
His love for all of us was evident in everything he did. He found so much joy in the simple moments we all shared together.
He had an uncanny ability with his light hearted spirit to make us laugh with his jokes and his many stories.
One thing he looked forward to was my cooking. He seemed to enjoy everything I brought up and would discuss what I could make our next visit.
Johnny, as we celebrate your life, we’re filled with a profound sense of gratitude. Thank you for being a pillar of strength, a source of love and the life of every gathering. Your legacy lives on in the hearts of all that had the privilege to know and love you.
With all our Love and cherished memories,
Scott and Joanne

He was a grandfather, father, brother, great grandfather and husband. He was a man who wore many hats. A man who dedicated his life to service as a proud marine to a man who always loved and protected his family and made sure they came first. You were an inspiration of light and brought joy to the Priestner household. I remember when I was younger and you and granny used to bring Dunkin’ doughnuts munchkins to the house. I also remember when you used to devour momma’s blue cheese dressing and granny saying you should have some salad with that. I also learned to never call you when I was in Texas after 7pm on Sunday's because that was your ice cream time and you didn’t like your ice cream melting. I miss you grandpa and what I’ll miss is calling you and grandma and hearing your voice to hear what you are doing like beating her in scrabble to watching the giants or jets game and hearing how y’all were about to watch wheel of fortune. I’m also going to miss hearing your voice and granny talking about how you were like a nascar driver flying around on your scooter through the hall ways and all the jokes you made. I’m also going to miss the times I joked about you ducking my calls because you were napping or in the bathroom trying to avoid me. My mom always said if I needed anything you would be the man to reach out to including granny. You were a great grandfather and father to my mom and I will never forget that and I love you. You will be missed by all. All I can say and hope is you are with mom and enjoying time together and watching out for each other. I would like to think of you leaving us and going to the man upstairs that he called you for a reason and we might not understand it but instead this is a moment to a celebrate of all you have done for me and the rest of the family and you will never be forgotten and I will see you one day again. Love you grandpa.
