Obituary of Madeline Anzevino
Madeline Anzevino, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2025 at the age of 80. Born on September 26, 1944, in New York, NY, she was the cherished daughter of Joseph and Madeline Ferrara.
Madeline spent her early years in Ridgefield, NJ, where she grew up alongside her older sisters, June and Ann. It was there she met her high school sweetheart, Anthony Anzevino, whom she later married. Together, they moved to Pine Brook, NJ, and raised three children: Julie Anzevino, Susan Trimble, and Joseph Anzevino.
Deeply committed to her family and community, Madeline was actively involved in her church, local schools, and various neighborhood organizations. Her warmth and dedication to those she loved left a lasting impact on all who knew her.
After her children were grown, Madeline began a new chapter working at AT&T as an administrative assistant. Her strong work ethic, professionalism, and attention to detail quickly earned her recognition, culminating in her role as the executive assistant to a company vice president.
In retirement, Madeline served as a Reiki practitioner at Morristown Medical Center providing peace and comfort to those who sought her care. Madeline found her greatest joy in the company of her growing family, especially her ten beloved grandchildren. Her home was always open, her heart always full, and her spirit a source of strength and love to those around her.
Madeline will be deeply missed by her children Julie, Susan, and Joseph, her grandchildren, extended family, and many dear friends.
A celebration of Madeline’s life will be held at Dangler Lewis & Carey Funeral Home located at 312 W. Main St. in Boonton, NJ on June 14th at 1PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Cathedral Kitchen in her memory.
Her legacy of love, service, and grace will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
