To be missed. Just heard of his passing last night, July 19 at the Pig and the Parrot with the Overboard band, one of his favorites.
Always remembering all the good times in Manasquan and Point Pleasant. Specifically the Osprey, Jenkinson‘s, and Martel’s.
May he rest in peace.

So sorry to hear Kathy & JoAnn. We will also miss Bob so much. He was always calm and gracious. Never saw him angry. We shared many a tent in Scout campouts for many years. Especially remember the time we got flooded. RIP. God bless you all.

Eulogy
Good morning, everyone. We are here to celebrate our brother, a son, uncle, great uncle, mentor and friend; a man who could light up the darkest room with his love, warmth, and generosity.
Robert or Big Bob to many here, always had a flair for making everyone around him feel good; he was not just my brother, but also my friend. His love of life and the kindness he brought to our lives will never be forgotten. He was truly a gentle giant.
Robert never had his own children, however his nieces, nephews, grandnephew, Matthew, and two grandnieces, Lilyana and Quinn, were his heart and soul.
Robert had a comforting presence and a deep faith that guided his every day. He always helped others, and Bob will be remembered for his kindness and love.
We grew up with ties to the NJ shore and Florida and Robert enjoyed a home in both Point Pleasant Beach and Boynton Beach and had a love for boating. He taught his nephew Christopher how to “captain” the boat and we are looking forward to this summer seeing Chris’s signature circular moves. I am sure Jenks will miss Big Bob this summer; and there will be an empty table at the Banana Boat in Boynton and Reservoir in South Orange.
Robert has been known for his love of cigars, a good beer and red wine, and hope to find you all at the Reservoir on a Thursday night toasting Bob.
Robert was proprietor for Lee Myles in Union for the last 26 years since our dad, Louis, passed away in 1999. This business has been in the family for close to 60 years and it was inspirational to see our dad’s passion for cars in Robert. If you ask anyone at Lee Myles, they will also say that Big Bob was an affable, generous gentleman who put people first.
We will miss his love, warmth, and bear hugs. As we say goodbye, let us honor his memory by living life to the fullest, just as he did.
RIP Robert
We look forward to catching up on the other side-
Love JoAnn and Kathy

Dear Kathy and Joann, I am heartbroken for you and the family. Robert was a wonderful friend and ‘cousin”, I can remember early childhood gatherings, on Sundays, after mass. Thank God there was the Blue Law! Sunday meals and gatherings, filled with lots of good food and music, and conversations and memories! We all grew up and my parents moved to Florida, but that was just geography, our ties were still close. Larry and I bought our home in Silverton, never knowing that Aunt Cousin Joanie and Uncle Louie were just around the corner! So the good times and memories continued. Robert moved to Point Pleasant and we saw him regularly, and laughed and ate and made more memories! Larry and I moved again, but Robert and I still stayed in touch with our annual Christmas card. That is where I learned about Louis. I am so sorry. Our deepest condolences and prayers are with you all. May you all find the strength in the loving memories of Robert. Love Patti and Larry

Having some deep memories since I heard of Roberts’ passing. I am deeply sorry for your loss. But maybe some of my memories will bring you all some solace. I have wonderful memories of coming to west orange with my parents Walter and Dolores and my sisters Cathy and Pattie . It was a grand musical and happy time. My dad with his accordion and Uncle Robbie on his violin.
Also the dumb waiter in that house filled with love and family!

Such a great guy. Like Bobby, my dad had the Aamco Transmission franchise in Union NJ for 43 years. Worked there as a kid growing up, then taking it over from my father after college. Throughout the years Bobby and I would see each other often, help each other on jobs, and so on. He was such a great guy.
