Obituary of Mario G. Ferrante

Funeral service will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes in West Orange on Tuesday, July 8th at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven in East Hanover. Visitation will be held at Dangler Funeral Home in West Orange on Monday, July 7th  from 5-8pm.

Mario was born in Luogosano, Italy to Michele and Laura Ferrante on September 9, 1930. Mario moved to Venezuela and opened a tailor shop at 20 years old to support his family in Italy. He immigrated to the United States in 1967 and worked at Dante Cerza in Short Hills as an interior decorator for many years. He was passionate about work and his family. 

Mario is survived by his wife of 60 years, Carmelinda. He is also survived by his son, Michael; his daughter, Tina; his son, Antonio; his grandson, Michael; and his beloved nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and 7 siblings.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
