Grandma, love you so much. So thankful to her and grandpa for the foundation of our family. Lots of strong memories of such fun trips to NJ, to the house where the stairs creaked so perfectly, the bathroom smelled of her perfume and the kitchen always had the best bagels and deli food and pizza! Was always so happy when she came to visit San Antonio too, grandma always brought the party!

MY memories of Mrs.C, goes back to college, when Pat, Glen and I would stop over after classes and her willingness to put up with us! She worked at Burrelles in Livingston along with my mother. She was a link to my mom. In the past several years I have been bringing her Communion and talking about days gone by. I was able to give her communion last Sunday. I am glad I was able to do that . She had a wonderful life. I will miss her deeply.

My Mother Kept a Garden My mother kept a garden A garden of the heart She planted all the good things That gave my life its start She turned me to the sunshine And encouraged me to dream Fostering and nurturing The seeds of self-esteem And when the winds and rain came She protected me enough But not too much because she knew I’d need to stand up strong and tough Her constant good example Always taught me right from wrong Markers for my pathway That will last a lifetime long I am my mother’s garden I am her legacy And I hope today she feels the love Reflected back from me.
