Obituary of Robert Willard Grey

Robert W. Grey, 82 of Towaco, NJ passed away peacefully in his home on January 7, 2026. He was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pa and moved to Towaco. He worked for RFL of Boonton Township for 40 years before retiring. He was a member of Towaco Volunteer Fire Department for 50 years. His favorite hobbies were hunting, fishing, camping and in later years he took up wood carving. He is predeceased by his wife Madelon of 45+ years. Devoted father of four children together, Anne Marie Grish (nee Grey) who passed away in 2012, Robert Jr., William Grey and Sally Peer (nee Grey). He has 6 grandchildren, Jessica and Dusty Brown, Robert and Andrew Grey, Tori Peer and Taylor Stoll (nee Peer). He has 9 great-grandchildren. He is survived by brothers Ronnie and Dave, and sister Diane, and his partner of 14 years, Loren Miller.

Services will be held at Dangler Lewis & Carey Funeral Home located at 312 W. Main St, Boonton on Saturday January 17th from 12pm to 4pm, with a Firemen’s Service starting at 3:30pm. Repass will immediately follow at Towaco Fire Dept, 27 Whitehall Rd. Towaco.

In lieu of flowers, all donations please be made in honor to the Towaco Volunteer Fire Department.
