Obituary of Costanzo R. Patuto

Costanzo Patuto, age 95, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2026 at Morristown Memorial Hospital.

Born on March 7,1930 in Orange, N.J.  Costanzo lived a long life devoted to family and marked by kindness and quiet strength. He was a loving husband, parent, and grandparent who treasured time spent with loved ones.

Mr. Patuto served with the West Orange Fire Department for 35 years before retiring as Deputy Chief in 1989.

Mr. Patuto was a member of the Firemen’s Benevolent Association Local 228, also a member of the FBMA, a member of the West Orange Rotary, and also the Roseland Rotary.

Costanzo is survived by his children Jeffrey and Patricia as well as his grandson Robert and was preceded in death by his spouse Claire Patuto

Services will be held on Thursday, January 15th at Dangler funeral home at 340 Main St. West Orange from 2pm-6pm.

Burial services will be held on Friday, January 16th, at 11:00am at Gates of Heaven Mausoleum in East Hanover.

Costanzo will be fondly remembered and deeply missed.
