Brian you were such a great person and boss to me. You were like a second father to me and treated me like a daughter. You were the best boss I could ever ask for many memories together especially you taking me to the Wolfe Tones we had a blast. I am so happy you came to my wedding even though you left early lol I was appreciative that you were there for my special day. I love you and you will be forever missed. RIP until we meet again

Like a second father to me for 24 years- you were kind and warm, but hard on me when I needed it. Funny as hell, and never at a loss for a one liner. I’ll miss your smile and your laugh. I’ll even miss your yells (the ones directed at me & at the Packers or the Irish lol).
Thank you for a good time, I wish it was longer. You will be dearly missed by all of us, especially Audriana. But, you will never be forgotten- you are imprinted on us, and you gave us the ultimate gift- love & community.
Until we meet again, I hope you’re taking adventures in your RV, playing unlimited rounds of golf, and sipping on an ice cold Coors light.
Love you BLaingin!

Brian - thank you! I will truly miss all the time we spent together, laughing, arguing, and growing. You and I had many moments together sharing life lessons and helping one another. You taught me all about your world and let me help you in ways that not only taught me, but made us the closest friends. You created a family among friends that will now forever be my second family. You have left us with memories for a life time and love that fills a room. We will all miss your energy. Until we meet again.

To my dear friend Brian, we shared 10 years together and though we had to part, our family has remained a forever one. I will always be there for your girls. My kids and I will never forget you. You helped me in so many ways and I can't begin to thank you for. What a great big heart you had. May you rest in peace and watch over your grandchildren, Audriana and Roman. Gone way to soon. Gail

Memories of my best friend Brian. I will carry them forever. The way he made me laugh , the days he would text me to make sure I was saving his seat. The times we watched and bet on the games together made loosing easier. Sharing a pizza and him showing interest in the things I liked were all amazing and I will miss this tremendously. I will miss him not sitting next to me and joking around. I love you Brian and I will root for our teams and I will miss you.

Brian was truly a wonderful person where I too had the privilege to be a friend and co- worker. His sense of humor was tops. Whether it was at work or play being in his presence the laughter never stopped. Good memories of good times. Thank you, Brian.

My memories of Brian are so vivid and positive. Certainly he was a good cop, a credit to the VPD. He had a lust for life and activity. Many mention his softball team participation and an active PBA Local 72 official. Most noteworthy, he didn’t have a malicious bone in his body. Kind hearted, fun loving, and steadfast in everything. Prayers for his family. Obviously, Brian will be missed. Martin R. Hellwig

Brian came on the job at Verona PD and fit right in. He was one of the guys immediately. As a PBA member and officer he always fought for our benefits.
He was a great teammate on many softball teams, especially the PBA team. On top of all that he was generous and funny and a great friend to all who knew him.

Brian was a true friend in every sense of the word. He was quick to lend a hand with any project or the first to dig into his pocket to support a cause. My memories include Brian bouncing around in the Terry's delivery truck and keeping my pharmacists laughing with his incredible one-liners.
R.I.P Brian. You are gone way too soon and you will be missed by many, many friends.
