Robin P. Young, 76, of West Orange, NJ passed away on January 24, 2024 surrounded by his loving family.

Robin was born on October 29, 1947, to Theodore J. and Elsy M. Young (Kromelbein) in Orange, NJ.

After Robin graduated from West Orange High School in 1966, he went on to proudly begin his career as a mechanic which spanned 42 years. The majority of his career was spent at The Township of West Orange, Public Works where he retired in 2008 as the Supervising Mechanic. 

Robin and his wife, Marilyn (Brennan), married on February 24, 1973 and went on to have three beautiful daughters, Christine, Jennifer and Alexis.  They have shared 50 years of love together. Robin loved his family and adored his grandchildren.

Robin was an avid New York Yankees fan. You could often find him watching baseball classics and old westerns. Later in life, he took a liking to woodworking.

Robin was predeceased by his parents, Theodore J. and Elsy M. Young and brother, Theodore H. Young.

Robin is survived by his wife, Marilyn; children, Christine Cain (Peter), Jennifer Bliss (Andrew) and Alexis Salvatoriello (Gary); six grandchildren, Sydney, Kyra, Riley, Kelsey, Rocco and Adrianna; siblings, Barbara J. Young, Carol Caruso (Joseph) and Roger T. Young (Christine); sister-in-law, Kathryn DeZao; and many nieces and nephews.  He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered. 

All are welcome to attend visitation at Dangler Funeral Home, 340 Main Street, West Orange, NJ 07052 on Sunday, January 28 from 2 – 6 pm. A prayer service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, January 29 at 10 am.
