Obituary of Anna May Yorke

Anna May Yorke,86 - Anna May Yorke (nee Nicklas),86, of Woodbridge passed away on Tuesday August 13, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family. Funeral Services will be held on Monday August 19, 2013 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street, West Orange at 8:30 AM, then to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1 Eagle Rock Ave., in West Orange for the Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery 255 Ridgedale Avenue in East Hanover. Visiting will be Sunday from 3-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anna May's name to: American Cancer Society, 906 South Springfield Ave., Springfield, NJ 07081 and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society New Jersey Metro Chapter, 246 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst, NJ 07755. Anna May was born and raised in Newark moving to Woodbridge 28 years ago. She was a dedicated mother and home maker. Mrs. Yorke was a member of the Woodbridge Irish Association, the McGovern Association, the Cryan's Association, the Giblin Association and the Irish/American Association of Woodbridge. Anna May was the beloved wife of the late Patrick Yorke. Devoted mother of Mary Yorke, Peggy Cirone and her husband Joseph, Patrick and his wife Colleen, Kathleen Yorke, Frank and his wife Nancy, Anna May Farinick and her husband Thomas, Suzie Yorke and her companion Andrew Baird, and the late Michael and Patricia Yorke. Loving sister of the late Frank Nicklas, Mary Grace Debecki, and Caroline Triano. Cherished grandmother of Erin, Kelliann, Bridget, Robert, Catherine, Patrick, and Shealyn. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
