Anthony John Antonelli, 87

Anthony J. Antonelli “T Bird”, 87, of West Orange passed away on Monday, February 18, 2019.

 Visiting will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange (340 Main Street, West Orange) from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anthony’s name to: Tribute Program

A Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday February 22, 2019 at 10:00AM at St. Philomena’s Church, 386 South Livingston Ave. in Livingston. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.

Anthony was born and raised in Orange before moving to West Orange in 1979.

He was a machinist working for TRW Inc. in Mountainside. Anthony was an avid bowler and did bowl a perfect game, he was a lifelong Yankee fan. T Bird could often be found at Al’s Auto in Orange. Mr. Antonelli proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.

Anthony was the beloved son of the late Rocco & Louise Antonelli. Cherished brother of Maria Dietrick, John Antonelli, and the late Elvira Spinelli. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
