Obituary of Oscar Jimenez Parra

Oscar Jimenez Parra passed away May 7, 2019. Oscar was born April 6, 1961 to Amalia Parra and Segundo Jimenez in Peru.  He arrived in this country to join his family and build a new life. 

Oscar was a man of integrity who always worked to provide for his family. He enjoyed spending time with his family, and even more taking his granddaughter Laia to the park. Oscar truly loved soccer and mainly his beloved Peruvian team, Universitario. He was always there to cheer his son Dominick as he played in his soccer team. Dominick, just like his father, grew to love the sport his father played when he was younger. 

Oscar is survived by his mother Amalia, wife Giovanna; along with three children; Kimberly, Dominick, and Kevin; grandchild, Laia; sisters Gloria and Esmeralda; brothers Jaime, Alberto, Robert, Freddy and his many loving nieces, nephews and extended family. Oscar was a loving son, father, husband, grandfather, uncle, brother, and unconditional friend. He will always be forever in our hearts.

Oscar Jimenez Parra’s family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Monday, May 13, 2019 at Dangler Funeral Home in West Orange, NJ. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Our Lady of the Valley in Orange, NJ at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Gates of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. The family would like to thank all who have accompanied the family during these difficult times.
