Obituary of Cormic Anthony McCluskey
Cormic Anthony McCluskey, 48, of Howell, NJ died from injuries sustained in a pedestrian accident on June 4th, 2019 in Howell. He was raised in Dumont, NJ and graduated from Lakeland Regional High School in Wanaque, NJ.
A memorial service will be held on Sat. June 15th at 10am at St. Francis of Assisi, 195 Ridgewood Ave. Glen Ridge, NJ 07028. A reception will follow at the church. On Mon. June 17th at 1pm, a ceremony of prayers will be said at Rashi Gemdigempel Ling Buddhist Monastery, 47 East 5th Street, Howell, NJ 07731. He will be buried at Grandview Cemetery, Fort Collins, CO.
Cormic carved his own path in life. He had a passion for photography and saw the world through his own unique lens. He was a beloved son, brother, cousin and uncle. He loved being outdoors and treasured his visits to see relatives in Ireland. He spent his last few years with a community of friends who loved him. He was a kind and generous soul whose laughter, quick wit, and smile are already missed.
Cormic is survived by his parents, Thomas and Sheila McCluskey; siblings Geraldine; John (Linda); Pattie (Jim Moorhead); Aiden; Eileen (John Papile); Kathleen (Adam Brandon) and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
