Clara Palma, 78

Clara Palma (nee Samassimo), 78, of Bloomfield passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2019 at her home.

Visiting will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main St. in West Orange from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 9, 2019 at 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union.  

Clara was born and raised in Italy before moving to Bloomfield in 1969.  She worked for Mountainside Hospital in housekeeping in Glen Ridge. She was a member of the House Workers Union #1199.

Clara was the beloved wife of the late Vincenzo Palma.  Devoted mother of Gabriella Palma, and Anthony Palma and his wife Michelle. Cherished grandmother of Claudia, Alexandra, Vicenza, Anthony Jr., Danielle, and Michele.  Loving great-grandmother of Aubree and Emmie.
