Carolann Sanchez, 72

Carolann Sanchez (nee Miller), 72 of West Orange, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2020.

Visiting will be held on Sunday, January 26, 2020 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main St. in West Orange from 3:00 to 7:00 PM.

A Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday, January 27, 2020 at 10:30 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Oratory, 1360 Pleasant Valley Way in West Orange. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.

Carolann was born in Pennsylvania, raised in Orange before moving to West Orange many years ago. She worked at Garden State Community Bank in Caldwell, prior to that she worked at Llewellyn Edison Savings Bank in West Orange. Carolann was a very active parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Oratory in West Orange. Carol was best known for her love of cooking and baking for her friends and family.  Above all, she cherished the time spent with her three grandchildren who meant the world to her.  She was so proud of her grandson and would never miss a baseball game.  She enjoyed time spent baking with her granddaughters.

Carolann was the devoted mother of Benjamin and his wife, Kelly Brown-Sanchez, and the late Christopher Sanchez.  Loving sister of David Miller, William Miller, and Patricia Sigalas. Cherished grandmother of Emily, Christopher, and Amanda. Loving cousin of Helen Sinton, and beloved aunt of Anthony Sigalas and Matthew Miller.
