Obituary of Joan Marie Vincent

Joan Marie Vincent, 89

Joan Marie Hanley Vincent of West Orange, NJ passed away on January 23, 2020 at 89 years of age.

Visiting will be held one Tuesday, January 28, 2020 from 3-6 PM at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street in West Orange. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joan’s name to; Make A Wish Foundation of NJ,  1347 Perrineville Rd, Monroe Township, NJ 08831.

A Funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph’s Church, 44 Benvenue Ave. in West Orange. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.

Joan was predeceased by her mother Ann Hanley Wilson (nee Deignan) and brother Edmund Hanley.  Joan is survived by her husband of 70 years, Thomas W. Vincent and her 2 sons, Thomas W. Vincent, Jr. (Anne) of Brick, NJ,  and David J. Vincent (Catherine) of Parkland, FL. Four grandchildren, five great grandchildren and her brother Robert Wilson.

She was a graduate of Our Lady of the Valley High School and was employed by Seton Hall University library for 15 years, retiring in 1984.
