Michael Nagle, 80
Michael Nagle, 80, of Kenilworth passed peacefully on Friday, March 6, 2020, surrounded by his loving family at his home.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 9, 2020 from 4-9 PM at Dangler Funeral Home, 340 Main St. West Orange, N.J. 07052. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Gagnon Cardiovascular Institute, Morristown Memorial Hospital, 100 Madison Ave., Morristown NJ 07960, or any Heart foundation of your choice.
A Funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of the Lake, 32 Lakeside Ave. Verona, N.J. 07044. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.
Michael was born in in Ballybunion, County Kerry, Ireland. Met his beautiful wife, the late Margaret, moved to London in 1965, then emigrated to New York in 1974, then Elizabeth NJ, West Orange in the 90’s, then to Kenilworth to live with his son and daughter in law. He was a man of many trades and worked as a Resident Property Manager for over 45 years.
He was an avid, talented golfer. He won numerous tournaments all of NJ and NY, and was the Tri-County Golf Club Champion. Michael was proud to be Irish and belonged to many Irish organizations, the Hibernian Club in Elizabeth NJ, Frank McGovern Association, and the Irish American Society of the Oranges. He lived a great life. Michael was a hard worker and sacrificed everything for his family to make sure they had a wonderful life. His greatest gifts were his sense of humor and kind heart. He was a devoted family man and adored and loved his beautiful wife Margaret.
Michael was the beloved husband of the late Margaret Nagle (nee Allen). Loving son of the late John Joe and Bridget Enright Nagle. Devoted father of Alison Nagle and her husband Billy O’Connor, Jennifer McGovern and her husband Sean, Michael Nagle and his wife Morgan. Cherished grandfather of Ciara, Emily, Kaitlyn, Jack, Dylan, Maggie, and Grace. Loving brother of Ann Nagle, Anthony Nagle, and the late John Nagle, Mary Nagle, Nolie Nagle, Patsy Nagle Molloy, Philomena Nagle Ryan, Paddy Nagle, Brendan Nagle, Denis Nagle, and Jeanie Nagle Daly. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and numerous friends.
