Konstantine W. “Gus” Zois, 94

Konstantine W. “Gus” Zois, 94, of Orange passed away on Sunday April 5, 2020 at his home.

Due to the recommended safety measures caused by the Coronavirus, Funeral Services are being privately arranged by The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange. The family will be having a Funeral Mass to celebrate Gus’s life at a later date. Letters of condolence may be posted at danglerfuneralhome.com.

Gus was born in Newark, the son of William and Chrysoula Zois and was a lifelong resident of Orange. He was the owner and operator of Academy Florist in Orange for many years. Gus proudly served in the United States Army during World War II. He was a member of Ss. Nicholas, Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church.

Gus was the beloved brother of Katherine Gakos, Nicholas W. Zois, and the late Stemmy Williams, Harry W. Zois, and Penelope Valassis. Cherished uncle of Maria Gakos, Elaine Jenkins, Lisa Polesky, Karen Iannarone, Christine Zois, Billy Zois, Philip Williams, and the late Cynthia Williams.  He is also survived by many grand nieces and nephews, Nicole, Alyssa, Brian, Frank IV, Christina and Steven. He is also survived by his friend Connie Stopp. Donations can be made in his memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
