Josephine DeBenedetto, 95

Josephine DeBenedetto (nee Intili), 95, of Livingston passed away on Wednesday April 8, 2020.

Due to the recommended safety measures caused by the Coronavirus, Funeral Services are being privately arranged by The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange. The family will be having a celebration of Josephine's life at a later date. Letters of condolence may be posted at danglerfuneralhome.com.

Josephine was born and raised in Orange before moving to West Orange in 1968. She lived in Florida for several years, where she was a member of The Italian Club,  before returning to New Jersey.

She was a Crossing Guard working for the West Orange Township, and prior to that was a server at the Tory Corner Diner.

Josephine was the beloved wife of the late Anthony DeBenedetto.  Devoted mother of Veronica Leber and her husband Joe, Thomas Companion, Gerard Companion and his wife Laura, and Joanne Napolitano and her husband Jim. Loving sister of the late Thomas and Tony Intili. Cherished grandmother of 7, and great grandmother of 5.
