So very sorry to hear about the loss of Kathy. Being friends with a Yorke meant that you were friends with the whole family. Everyone one of them. They were so fun loving and special....I remember Kathy’s smile and how contagious it was. She was always so warm and welcoming. It’s so sad to hear about this great loss. May she Rest In Peace! Sending much love and hugs to the whole family.....
especially Mary, Peggy, Pat, Frank, Annamay, and Susie.

Kathy was the first Yorke I met at my first job when I was 14. She warned me to stay away from her brother Frank as "he's trouble." Well, good thing I knew how to take that, as he became my best friend and the Yorkes like a second family. Kathy remained a close friend, and her smile and humor will remain always.
May the Lord and the love of your extended family give you comfort in this sad time and hold you until we can all hold each other again.

My dear friend Kathy, words cannot express my sadness. We met so many years ago on the Vailsburg First Aid Squad, then EMT training at UMDNJ, and remained friends through all these years. So many laughs and good times, long hours on the phone....You were always there with a shoulder to cry on, as well as laughing till we cried about so many fun times. The many St. Patrick Days watching the parade from your front porch with our friends, hanging out in TK's, 'weasel hunting' into the wee hours of the morning. You could always be counted on to be there when needed. I am going to miss you, my dear friend, rest in peace with the Angels.

I am sadden to hear of Kathy’s passing and pray for her family and friends at this difficult time. Kathy and I first became friends at Peter Smith’s Irish Dancing (oh those fun Friday nights above Teevans). She was one year ahead of me at Sacred Heart and the Valley. I lost touch with her after my family moved to FL but always remembered the fun and happy times we shared.
May she Rest In Peace.

I will miss Kathleen so very much. I will miss her quick smile and laugh. I was fortunate to not only call her friend but call her sister though we had no blood relation. I will miss her Irish soda bread that I would receive every year and would share with my family even as far off as Italy. I transported to my Dad there and he too was enamored with her award wining bread as was the rest of my family. Most of all, I will miss her love and generosity. The world is less bright with out her and I know many are morning her loss. May God grant her peace and joy and loving reunion with her Mom and Dad, bother and sister that await her. Love you Kathy and my love to the Yorke family. Cecile
