Marilyn Ann Campanelli, 79

 

Marilyn Ann Campanelli (nee Porcello), 79, of Barnegat, formerly of West Orange, passed away on Saturday January 2, 2021.    

 

A Funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1 Eagle Rock Ave. in West Orange. Services were entrusted to The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street in West Orange.  Letters of condolence may be posted at danglerfuneralhome.com. Marilyn was passionate about respecting and honoring the brave men and women of the United States Armed Services and therefore the  family ask that donations may be made in Marilyn’s name to; Wounded Warriors Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675

 

Marilyn was born and raised in Newark and lived and raised her children in West Orange Township before moving to Barnegat several years ago.  During her years in West Orange she enjoyed working as a manicurist at Le Shoppe Salon, watching her grandchildren play in her yard and hosting many family parties with her beloved late husband Carmen. Marilyn loved to spend time with her friends and family.  Whether it was a trip to Atlantic City, afternoons on the beach in Long Beach Island, hanging in her pool at the Mirage or just making pizzas and playing games in her kitchen, she always cherished time spent with loved ones.   

 

Marilyn was the beloved wife of the late Carmen Campanelli. Devoted mother of Michelle Casalino and her husband Tony, Nick Lemma, Sherry Lemma, Danielle Petriella and her husband Ron. Loving sister of the late Thomas Porcello, Joseph Porcello, Mary Natale, Nick Porcello, and Michael Porcello. Caring aunt of many nieces and nephews.  Cherished grandmother of Dana & Tim Blumkin, Anthony Casalino, Joseph Casalino, Steven Lemma, Jacqueline Lemma, Alexis Lemma, Nicholas Lemma, Eddie Buoye, Trevor Buoye, Ronald Petriella, and Michael Petriella.
