Doreen Ann McAuliffe, 56

Doreen Ann McAuliffe (nee Cheek) was born in Jersey City and was a lifelong West Orange resident.

Doreen was the beloved longtime companion of James O’Connor. Loving mother of Tara Schroeder & Glenn, Erin Dwyer & Royal, Kimberly McAuliffe & Ian Bissett, and Kelly McAuliffe. Cherished sister of Thomas Cheek, Darlene Lescota, and Paula Cheek. Devoted grandmother of Glenn, Gavin, and Jake. Doreen is predeceased by her parents, Grady & Patricia Cheek and her siblings, Lynn Luciano & William Cheek, and her niece Lucy Lescota.

Visiting will be held on Friday February 26, 2021 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM with a service at 7:30 PM at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street in West Orange. In lieu of flowers may be sent to the West Orange Animal Shelter, 311 Watchung Avenue West Orange, NJ 07052. Letters of condolence may be posted at danglerfuneralhome.com.

During the COVID 19 pandemic, all persons entering the Funeral Home will be required to wear a face mask or face covering throughout their stay. Likewise, all social distancing rules must be adhered to. Gathering together in groups should not happen. A continued flow throughout the facility will aid in keeping all of us safe, with everyone having an opportunity to pay their respects.
