He will be missed by so many. Mr. Fittin was like a second father to me. So many great memories growing up. My prayers go to my dear friend Glen, his brothers, and their family.

To the Fittin family you have my deepest condolences.Your dad was a great guy from the first time i met him in November of 1979 at New Jersey Bell. He was one of the best lineman in the state. I had asked Gordon about him not too long ago. He was a good man. Will be sorely missed. Play his favorite number 419!!!! He always hit that number when we were working. He would say "Hey kid you wanna win play 419 i didnt listen. What comes out 419. its still coming out. R.I.P. TJ

Dear Gordon, Gary, and Glenn,
I am so heartbroken to hear about your dad's passing. We just spoke last month. He called me out of the blue and we had a wonderful conversation filled with laughs and great memories. He was always such a fantastic friend and neighbor. My kids loved going over to your house to see his pigeons and sometimes he would even walk them down to the brook just to spend time with them. He and your mom Marion were two of my very best friends in the neighborhood. Whenever I needed them, they were ALWAYS there for me. He will be greatly missed, just as your mom is.
Love, Mary Spino

I send the entire family love from the deepest part of my heart. We all grew up together and "Mr. Fittin" was the coolest guy in the neighborhood. We used to wait for him to release his pigeons and watch the skies. He was always smiling and keeping an eye on the neighborhood girls to be sure we stayed out of trouble. Always if great humor and love for his family ...

My deepest sympathies to the Fittin family.
I live in Laurelton Gardens, my parents lived here
before me so I knew
Tom and your Mom from when I would
visit them. I moved in after they passed and
He knew I was alone and stopped by to let me
know that if there was ever anything I
needed to let him know. Your Mom would
have him call see if I would like some
Cookies too.
He was a good neighbor and friend I would
Sit under the tree and listen to stories about
his life he had so much to tell. He was also the
Trustee you could depend on there was nothing
He couldn’t fix and he would be out in all
Kinds of weather to help anyone who needed him.
He would drive around the co-op and always
smiled and waved. He will be sorely missed
here especially by those of us that
appreciated his kindness and friendship.
