Obituary of Shirley Jensen

Shirley Jensen, 96

Shirley Jensen (nee Ryan), 96 of West Orange, passed away on Thursday May 13, 2021.  

Visiting will be held on Friday May 21, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM with a funeral service at 12:00 PM at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.

Shirley was a lifelong resident of West Orange. She worked as an assembly worker for Stevens Manufacturing, which was located in East Orange. 

Shirley was the beloved wife of the late Roy Jensen. Devoted mother of Joan Davenport and Janice Deriggi & her husband Philip. Cherished grandmother of Robert, James, Lauren, Jennifer, and Andrew & Erica. Loving great grandmother to Joseph, Matthew, Ryan, Dylan, Andrew, and Noah. 

  During the COVID 19 pandemic, all persons entering the Funeral Home will be required to wear a face mask or face covering throughout their stay. Likewise, all social distancing rules must be adhered to. Gathering together in groups should not happen. A continued flow throughout the facility will aid in keeping all of us safe, with everyone having an opportunity to pay their respects.
