Claire Frances Waldron, 87

Claire Frances Waldron (nee Mehl), 87, of Livingston passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.

Visiting will be held on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street in West Orange. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to; Alzheimer’s Association Greater New Jersey Chapter 400 Morris Ave. Suite 251 Denville, NJ 07834-1365

A Funeral Mass will be offered on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of the Lake Church, 32 Lakeside Ave. in Verona. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.  

Claire was born in Orange, living in the Oranges before moving to Livingston. She worked for Midlantic Bank in South Orange as a Teller for many years. Claire was a member of the Rosary Altar Society at St. John’s Church, St. Vincent DePaul Society at Saint Raphael’s Church, and she was a daily communicant. She was a great mother, friend, aunt and gram, and will be remembered as a Ridge Street Mom to many.

Claire was the beloved wife of the late Robert Waldron. Devoted mother of Mary Reinke and her husband Peter, Wally Waldron and his wife Lynn, Billy Waldron and his wife Dana, Kate O’Callaghan and her husband Patrick, and Greg Waldron. Cherished grandmother of Connor, Bobby, Jack, Jessica, Faith, Billy, Maggie, Erin, and Molly, great grandmother of Declan. Loving sister of William Mehl, and the late Betty Brattlof, Ann Mehl, and Walter Mehl.
