VirJeane Ann Ward, 83

VirJeane Ann Ward (nee Nelles), 83, of West Orange passed away on Thursday June 9, 2022 at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston. 

Visitation will be held at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street in West Orange on Monday June 13, 2022, 2-6 PM. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday June 14, 2022 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1 Eagle Rock Ave. at 10 AM, followed by interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.  Masks are mandatory. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in VirJeane’s name to the North Jersey Blood Center, 401 Pleasant Valley Way, West Orange, NJ 07052. VirJeane was born in Orange, moving to West Orange 58 years ago. She was an executive manager and bookkeeper at Eagle Rock Bus Company in addition to her business of creating arts and crafts for sale.

VirJeane was the beloved wife of 51 years of the late Patrick F. Ward Sr. Devoted mother of Caias Ward and his wife Christine Berni, and the late Patrick F. Ward Jr.  Loving sister of the late Charles Nelles. Adored grandmother of Kaylee Holliday Ward-Berni.
