Obituary of Dolores Anne McCormick
Dolores “Dee” Giancursio McCormick died peacefully at home on Sunday, June 26, 2022.
Survived by her beloved son Mark (Jen), daughter Clare, 8 grandchildren; Raymond (Taylor), Frances, Colin, Kelly, Mark, Zachary, Luke and Jake.
Grandma Dee always had candy in the jar by the door and was notorious for spoiling her grandkids, whom she adored. She loved hosting holidays.
Dee went back to college and earned her degree, and she was passionate about “playing the (Stock) Market”. She worked for Eastman Kodak, RFL and retired after many years at Tiffany & Co., where she authorized credit sales of the rich and famous.
She never left the house without her perfume and lipstick, and she was beautiful inside and out. Although we are sad that she is no longer with us, we are glad that she is at peace and that we have an angel to watch over us.
Visiting will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2022 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Dangler Lewis & Carey Funeral Home, 312 West Main Street in Boonton.
A Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday, July 1, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 910 Birch Street in Boonton, interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Boonton.
For those who wish, donations may be made in her name to National Parkinson’s Foundation, Office of Development, 1501 NW 9th Avenue, Bob Hope Road, Miami, Florida 33136-1494
