Frances Austin, 102

Frances Austin, age 102 of Parsippany, NJ, passed away peacefully on October 10, 2022. She was born in New Brunswick on February 9, 1920 and was a lifelong resident of New Jersey.

In her early years she worked in her family's business, New York Bakery in Plainfield. She raised her family in Livingston. She was a homemaker, worked part time in retail and was a volunteer at Kessler Institute in West Orange for many years. Fran was an avid reader, enjoyed playing cards with the neighbors and loved the swimming pool parties she hosted in her backyard. She loved a glass of champagne and was a friend to everyone. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She leaves behind her three children, Lynn Reed of Jensen Beach, FL, Steven Austin (Karen) of Long Valley, Jay Austin of Toms River. Grandchildren Roger Whiteman (Debra) of Orlando, Janna Kirkland (Bob Mount, Jr) of Orlando and Joseph Austin of Toms River. She also leaves three great-grandchildren, Morgan, Ali and Taylor and dear friend, Hildalore, along with many loving nieces and nephews.

Memorial Visitation & Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM  at Dangler Lewis & Carey Funeral Home, 312 West Main St. in Boonton,
