Rose "Rosie" E. Praitano

Rose E. Praitano (nee George), 95 of Bloomfield, NJ passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2022 with her family beside her.

Visitation will be held Sunday, October 30th from 2:00 PM  to 6:00 PM at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 31 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange at 9:00 AM. A funeral mass will follow at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church 1 Eagle Rock Avenue, West Orange, NJ. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Ridgedale Avenue in East Hanover, NJ.

Rose was born in Orage, NJ and lived in East Orange, before moving to West Orange. After devoting her time and love in rasing her family, she worked at the local A&P Suprmarket close to her home for 38 years.

Rose was the beloved wife of John A. Praitano. Devoted mother of the late Robert Praitano and loving mother to daughter, Sharon Wettengel and her husband, Don, who she loved as her own. Loving sister of Gerald George and his wife Grace, the late Joseph George and his late wife Patricia, The late Leonard George Jr and his wife Jeanne. Loving sister to Theresa Tillmes and her late husbad Arthur Tillmes Jr of Delaware, the late Antoinette Hoch and her late husband Paul Hoch and the late Margaret George. Loving grandmother to Robert Wettengel and Krista Hernandez (Peter). She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
