Davey was my 1st serious relationship and was such a kind and gentle soul. I loved that we were both from big families. We lost touch but he always remained in a special place in my heart. I am saddened by this and know he is in Heaven for sure. He will always be remembered in my family as well. My prayers and hugs and love go out to the whole Petonak family. I believe Davey was 20 in the picture below

I met Dave through his cousin Stanley. It was a privilege to know him. Dave was the most giving person that I have ever met. He would literally give the shirt off his back, if need be. His unselfish service to others were felt in numerous ways. I will always think of him whenever I hike in Promised Land State Park where he enjoyed camping. Dave will be missed in a huge way. I offer my very deepest condolences to his family. - Liz Richards

The Petonak and Estler family have a long history. Our parents consoled each other for years when heartbreak came, and sadly today it has come again. Davey was a kind soul who gave freely of himself. A conversation with him couldn't be had without him flashing his easy smile! Our family wishes to extend our deepest condolences in this most difficult time. Rest in Peace Dave. The Estler Family

Dave was our neighbor on Elcock Ave. for over 21 years. We were lucky to know him. He was always kind, loving, understanding and patient. He loved his gardening and helped me with mine. He watched over the house when we were gone and made sure my kids were safe. We would have long talks about God and Jesus and his knowledge of the Bible was inspiring. God has another angel in heaven in which to continue spreading the light. Rest In Peace friend. The Onopa family
