Kevin J. McCaffrey, 70

 Kevin J. McCaffrey, 70, of West Orange passed away on Friday, December 2, 2022.

A Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday, December 5, 2022 at 10 am at St. Joseph’s Church, 44 Benvenue Ave. in West Orange. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum in East Hanover.  Arrangements are entrusted to The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street West Orange, NJ 07052. Letters of Condolence may be posted at danglerfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers, donations in Kevin's name are prefered to; St. Jude Children’s Research hospital, Memorial Giving, 501 St Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.

The youngest of 13, Kevin was born and raised in Newark before moving to West Orange 45 years ago. He was an Account Executive at YRC Freight for 38 years.

Kevin was the beloved husband of 45 years of Carolann McCaffrey (nee Greco), his best friend and high school sweetheart. Devoted father of Melissa Rioseco and her husband Stephen, and Michelle Petrillo and her husband Michael. Cherished Pop-Pop of Matthew, the love of his life.

He treasured spending every afternoon with Matthew on their adventures. Kevin also loved spending summers at the shore with his family and having dinner every Sunday with the entire family.

He enjoyed playing golf with friends and family whenever he had the chance. 

He is also survived by David McCaffrey, his wife Rosann, Sally Paternostro and many beloved nieces and nephews.
