Obituary of Jay A. Fraley

Jay A. Fraley, 89, of Montville, born in Wilkes-Berre, PA, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2023. Beloved husband of Ann Fraley (nee Tasco) for 68 years. Devoted father of Paul Fraley, Marie LaMarta and her husband James, James Abel Fraley, and Christine Giannetti and her husband Jack. Cherished grandfather of George Fraley, Christie-Lynn Swift, Katherine Marie LaMarta, Frank Giannetti and Michael Giannetti. Loving great grandfather of Philip John Swift, Jeremy Swift, Isabel Swift, Abigal Swift, Grace Rose Giannetti, and Frank Giannetti, Jr.

Before retiring Jay was an Assistant Supervisor for NORDA, East Hanover for over 30 years. Jay served for the Montville Ambulance Squad for a few years and belonged to the Montville Seniors Club. He loved to watch John Wayne movies, and was an avid Phillies fan. 

Family and friends are welcome to visit on Wednesday, 2-6pm in Dangler Lewis & Carey Funeral Home, 312 W. Main Street Boonton, NJ 07005.

Catholic funeral service will begin at 5pm, in the funeral home. 

Cremation will be held privately. Interment of cremated remains will be held in Gate of Heaven Cemetery,  East Hanover at a later date.
