Obituary of Catherine Russo

Catherine (nee Yourie) Russo of West Orange passed away on Tuesday August 19, 2014 at the age of 97. Funeral Services will be held on Monday August 25th at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street in West Orange at 9:00 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1 Eagle Rock Avenue in West Orange at 10:00 a.m. Entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visitation will be held on Sunday August 24th from 3 – 7 PM. Letters of condolence may be posted at danglerfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Catherine's memory to St. Jude Children Research Hospital, P.O. Box 38101, Memphis, TN 33105. Catherine was a member of the ILGWU and the Essex County Seniors. She was predeceased by her husband Daniel C. Russo; sister Margaret Valente, brother Louis Yourie. She is survived by a son Genard Russo & his wife Marie, daughter Marie Sabeh & her husband Joe; a sister, Frances Sofranko; 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
