Karen was a special friend of mine and it pains me that she is gone. I met her through a mutual friend of ours jim Clayton. My wife(who passed away just 2b,on this after karen) and I visited karen a number of times and often talked about her visiting us in Wisconsin. I really miss Karen’s wut, her laughter and sense of humor. She was loyal to jim and other friends to the end. I wish I had known she was terminally ill. So long, karen, I love you.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. True, remembering those times might be painful at first. In time, though, these memories may help you to heal rather than cause you to hurt. It's during times such as these that we can find comfort in the Lord's Prayer in Matthew 6:9, 10 . . .‘Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified. Let your kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also upon earth.' Only God’s Kingdom can bring peace, happiness, perfect health, and everlasting life. We can be there to see them enjoy these and other promises made by our Creator.
