Obituary of Andre Lafleur

Please share a memory of Andre to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Andre Lafleur Jr.

Obituary Andre Lafleur Jr. was born January 20, 1972, in Newark, New Jersey. He was the eldest son of Andre Lafleur Sr. and his wife Solange Lafleur’s three children. He was a loving and protective older brother to Gerald (Jerry), and sister, Shirley.

As a Newark native, he attended Speedway Ave., Camden Middle, Irvington Tech, and West Side High. Along that journey, he befriended many people and forged lifelong bonds. He was very social and easy to get along with. His dimpled smile was contagious and charming. He had a greatsense of humor and would find a reason in any given setting to just joke and laugh.

He was a people person with a charismatic personality. He had a kind heart, was loyal, and was very affectionate to those he cherished. Whether he saw you once or ten times that day, he would hug his loved ones and tell them – “I love you!”

He had a lot of love for his brother and sister-in-law, Vergerol and Camille. He had three nephews: Cameron, Jamil, and Jelani Lafleur of whom he all loved and took pride in.

Despite later moving away to Florida, he made it his business to ask and inquire about “ALL” whom he cared about. And if he couldn’t reach them, he would always say: “Just tell them I asked about them.”

He fell asleep in death on July 4, 2023, leaving behind his parents, siblings, nephews, brother & sister in-law...along with all his extended family and friends.
