During this time of great sorrow, may it comfort you to know that others are deeply touched by your loss. I too know the pain of losing someone dear. Even though our hearts are broken, rest assured that our Grand Creator cares about you personally (1 Peter 5:7) and can help you though this difficult time. Revelation 21:4 speaks of a time soon when God will do away with death forever. There will be no more sorrow, heartache, or pain. May your happy memories and sure scriptural hope comfort your hearts during this painful time.

When I started in the Belleville School District, Phil took me under his wing. After the first day of school, he took me to the Arlington Diner for cheesecake and coffee. He mentored me and we became fast and long-lasting friends. l"ll never forget the many times he drove me home through blizzard conditions and said, Don't worry. This is a piece of cake!" It was for Phil, and we always arrived in West Caldwell safe and sound. He encouraged me in my ambition to become an administrator and was my most ardent supporter. I can never thank him enough for his friendship, loyalty and support. I hope he knew how much I respected and loved him. Rest in peace my friend.
