Obituary of Stephanie Darrow
Stephanie A. (Yasko) Darrow of Cranford, New Jersey, passed away on Friday, November 10, 2023, in Cranford, New Jersey, just shy of her 80th birthday on Sunday, November 19, 2023.
Stephanie was the loving wife and mother of her late husband, Earl W. Darrow and late daughter, Jennifer L. (Darrow) Marchese.
Stephanie was the beloved sister of Mrs. Linda (Yasko) Wargo and sister-in-law of Mr. Alan Wargo.
Stephanie was the devoted cousin of Mr. Michael L. Vaughan, Mr. and Mrs. Charles and Virginia Taylor, Mr. and Mrs. Edward and Patricia Belevedere, Ms. Lynn Belvedere and husband Mr. Glenn Strathearn, and Mr. Joseph Belvedere and husband, Mr. Stan Zimmerman.
Stephanie was the cherished grandmother of Jordan Marchese and fiancé Ariana Rodriguez and Noah Marchese, former mother-in-law of Gary Marchese, and “adopted MA Darrow” of Mr. and Mrs. Christopher and Lisa Carlson.
Stephanie leaves behind treasured friendships with Mr. and Mrs. Albert and Patricia Maglio, Mr. and Mrs. Roy and Patricia Condit, Mr. and Mrs. Philip and Patricia Lamm, Mr. and Mrs. Robert and Cyndi Progner, Mr. And Mrs. James and Marybeth Manning, Mr. and Mrs. Matthew and Amy Hosler, Mrs. Laurie Swetman, Ms. Irene Gruhacz, Mrs. Margoth Moreno, Ms. Donna Adamczyk, Mrs. Marianne Conte, and Mrs. Liz Zawacki.
Stephanie, known as “Grammy,” fostered an indelible legacy of love with so many of her “adopted grandchildren” within the Cranford, New Jersey community.
Stephanie lived her life with an indomitable strength that could never be reckoned with, by anyone. Frank Sinatra’s song best summed up Stephanie’s fortitude in life- “I did it my way.”
A private ceremony will take place in the Spring of 2024 in Stephanie’s favorite vacation destination, Cape May, New Jersey, commemorating Stephanie’s incredible life.
