Obituary of Raymond Mathew Kienzle
Raymond M. Kienzle, 74
Raymond M. Kienzle, 74, of West Orange, passed away peacefully on Saturday November 18, 2023, surrounded by his loving and devoted family.
Raymond is survived and missed by his loving wife Toni (née Facchiano) of 41 happy years; and his children, Nikki (Andy), Christine, Melissa, Joseph (Gizelle). Forever cherished and remembered by his eleven grandchildren, James and Peter Facchiano, Olivia and Andrew Fernandez, Raymond and Ariella Kienzle, Jacob Ramirez, Aaliyah & Joseph Benton, Joelle and Nicholas Kienzle. Dear brother of Carmen Michael Kienzle. Beloved nephew of Olive Pursglove. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins and dear friends. He was predeceased by his father Carl Richard Kienzle, his mother Beatrice (née Pursglove), and his younger brother Gary Richard Kienzle all of whom he held close to his heart.
Born and raised in Hialeah, Florida. Later, he moved to New Jersey, where he eventually met his wife, Toni. Some of his greatest joy came from his four children. They created many memories while spending time together as a family. Raymond, called “Tiny” by friends and family, had many professions throughout his life. He recently retired from PSE&G after 35 years and was the only full-time gas lamplighter at the company. Raymond maintained and restored around 2,000 street gas lamps in South Orange & Glen Ridge areas.
Raymond or “Tiny” as we like to call him will be missed tremendously. May he forever rest in peace.
Funeral Services will be held at Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street in West Orange on Saturday, November 25, 2023. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM with Funeral Services at 3:30 PM.
