Obituary of Nancy Christina Viparina

Nancy Poliak-Viparina, 88

Our dear mother, Nancy Poliak-Viparina passed away peacefully surrounded by family on November 30, 2023 at the age of 88.  She was predeceased by her parents John and Mary (nee Yurczak) Poliak, her husband Paul Viparina, son, Steven Viparina.  She leaves behind her daughter Karen and her husband Henry Stroczynski of Wilmington, N.C.  Daughter, Lori and her husband Robert Ryan of Leland, N.C.  Seven grandchildren...Alison, Ian, Brandi, Chelsea, Steven, Bobby and Kaeli.  Three great grandchildren...Lily, Leo and Sutton.

Nancy grew up in the Bronx, New York.  After graduating from Julia Richmond High School, she began working as a teller in a NYC Bank.  Shortly after, she met Paul, got married and moved to Little Falls, New York to help run the family gas station.  They were then offered a jobs managing the Boonton Sokol Gymnastics Cam in Boonton, New Jersey.  After several years they decided to open their own business..."Boonton Liquors".  She loved living in New Jersey.

She has been laid to rest next to her son at Rockaway Valley Cemetery in Boonton, New Jersey.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to hospice in Nancy's memory.
