Obituary of Damian Garcia Osborne
Damian (Damo) Garcia Osborne, 24, of West Orange, NJ, passed away instantly on Wednesday, January 10th, 2024 @ 12:38PM in Lawrenceville, Kansas. Damian had breakfast at the hotel and spoke with Marwan Shehata, one of his best friends, at 11:30am. Damian was full of life and happiness on this sunny day full of snow. Damian was only 7 hours away from Colorado. Damian was planning to visit Garden of the Gods and spend a few days with his Aunt Karen. Damian was the most spiritual and loving person and would take his shirt off his back for anyone that needed his help. He was a lover in every way.
Dangler Funeral Home, 340 Main St. West Orange, will be handling the funeral arrangements. Visitation will be held on Friday January 19th, from 4 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 20th at 11:30 am. The ceremony will begin at 12:11pm sharp, Damian was born on 12/11 @ 12:11pm, with Church officiating, followed by 11 speakers.
The family elected Cremation, at Roseland Cemetery, Montclair, NJ. Friends and family are invited to attend Damian’s Life Calibration at 555 Northfield Ave (enter 211 – 4th floor) West Orange NJ (extra parking at St. Clouds grammar school, Dunken Donuts and Turtle Back Zoo)
Damian was born in Hackensack University Hospital, NJ to Rose and Steve Osborne on 12/11/1999. He went to West Orange High School in their Institute of Math and Science Program and graduated in 2018. He lettered in Football and Lacrosse for the school. Afterwards, he attended Seton Hall University on an academic scholarship. Damian opted to pursue a career in the music industry. At the time of his death, he was moving to Los Angeles to complete the release of his album and realize his career as a Songwriter and Rapper. Damians’ earlier releases of his songs and music can be found on his YouTube channel, https://www.youtube.com/@TheyKnowDame. Damian’s passion for music can be heard in the songs and lyrics he shared with the world. His heart and soul can be heard in each line he wrote.
In addition, to his music, Damian worked as an Assistant Manager for Jersey Mike’s in West Orange and Bloomfield for three years. He enjoyed cooking, baking, poetry and creating music. He was a devoted son, brother and friend. Damian is survived by his mother, Rose Garcia Osborne; his father, Steve Osborne; and his sister, Belen Aurora Osborne of West Orange.
