To the family of Mrs. Fernicola. I send my deepest condolences to you all during this sad and difficult time. I knew her daughter Irene from school years, and her son Richard from working with Devine Roofing, and I graduated with Richards wife Rosemarie. I am so very sorry for your loss. Loosing the one person who saw you grow, was there for you no matter what, and loved you unconditionally. May you gain strength through your sorrow and remember all the memories you have.

I will always remember how my Aunt Florence helped me through the most difficult time of my life. She was my Mom's rock throughout her life, and yet gave immeasurable love and support while she herself was grieving her passing.
I will always remember with great fondness the family gatherings at her house, and her smile or how the sound of her voice would brighten my day. She was a very generous, kind, loving person who was always there for others,in good times and bad, and I will always hold her in my heart.
Thank you for the memories and rest in peace, Aunt Flo.
Love,
Patti

Florence was the epitome of a lady, as she was dubbed by her grandsons when they were very young boys. She was a classy woman who always held her head high. Meticulously dressed with a beautiful and pleasant speaking voice, she was an inspiration to all and way ahead of her time! Her home was her castle, a true reflection of her personality. Every corner of every room maximized to its fullest potential, ingeniously organized, while still tastefully and classically decorated. I don’t believe I ever entered the Fernicola home without reaching into her candy dish! She undoubtedly spent a good deal of time in her laundry room with four children. So she brightened it up with a cute border of cheerful flowers. She taught me and Irene how to properly fold towels. In fact, to this day, I can’t fold a towel without thinking of Florence! She was a busy lady and knew how to delegate. I have wonderful memories of her bringing us shopping on Saturdays to Korvettes and/or Alexander’s! She was multi-talented with lots of fun and creative outlets. She adored her family and was always there to support each and every one of them while still making time for her own self-care and self-interests. She was an amazing role model and an extraordinary woman. She had a good run!
Job well done, Florence. Now rest in peace…
