"My Unc"
There are no words that can express how I am feeling – my heart is broken! I loved you so much – you became my Dad 58 years ago when my Father passed. You and Aunt Dolly were always there for me in good times and sad times – I will miss our phone conversations about the computer, etc., our “road trips”, our senior functions and everything the four of us did together. We had so many good times together and Richie and I will hold those memories in our hearts. We know you are at peace and rejoicing in Heaven but we will miss you so much. We promise that we will be there for Aunt Dolly.
Love you forever,
Annette & Richie

The memories that I have of my precious "Uncle John" fill my entire childhood and adult life. He was the one who made going to Aunt Dolly's and Grandma's possible!!! He was the best Uncle anyone could ask for. Every Sunday and holiday was filled with memories of going to see the family, playing with my cousins, seeing my grandparents, aunts and uncles and all of the great food!!!
I will never forget watching the Ed Sullivan show on Sunday nights with the family and Uncle John yelling to my dad through the apartment, "Hey Willy! They got the plate spinners on!" I think he was the only one who got away with calling my dad "Willy!" He was such a loving and fun Uncle. He was the best husband to my favorite Aunt Dolly and father to my cousins, "Johnny boy", Kathy and Sharon.
He made every event fun and special. He was always so loving and welcoming us into their home and at all of our family parties and events.
I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH!!! Every child should be so blessed to have an "Aunt Dolly & Uncle John". To say he will be missed is an understatement.
We will keep our beloved Dolly in our prayers. I thank our Lord and Savior, Jesus, for giving us the "best of the best!" Uncle John is now seeing you face to face and is receiving his reward and hearing the words "Well done, thou good and faithful servant, receive your eternal reward."
All our love, Judi & John Valencia

Uncle John is, was, and always will be an integral part of my life. He and Aunt Dolly did not miss one milestone in my 54 years on this planet; from my birth until my master's recital. God will be with you, Aunt Dolly, as your faith is a blessing and an inspiration for all of us. When we were children, I remember Uncle John whistling while Sharon and I were playing in my bedroom. I remember him always sitting with my father. During our last conversation, he reminded me how loved I am, and how much my own father loved me. He was a model of a gentleman and a family man. Thank you, Uncle John, for everything. I'm glad I got to personally say this to you during your lifetime. You will be sorely missed. May heaven welcome you with open arms.
All our love, Lynda & Sis

Uncle John
Writing memories and what you mean to me in this little space is impossible.
Throughout all of my life, I do not remember one time when you were not smiling and welcoming.
You were such an example of a man who loved and was loved, who had a strong faith, and who acted as a man of Christ.
Thank you for being such a good friend to my mom and Baba when he joined our family. They always talked about the fun you had together, which gave me great joy! Say "hi" to them for me.
I will cherish all of the Christmas ornaments you made for me. I think my favorites are the Popes- some of your best work!
I am especially grateful for your impact on our Kyrsten. She got such joy from spending time with her "Pop Pop," and each of your smiles and words of wisdom remain in her heart.
I will still text you and Aunt Dolly from my Yankee games. I know you will be watching—cheering and complaining! DJ will be with me, as in the photo, cheering along with you!
I do not know how long it will be until we are together again in the Kingdom, but in the meantime, you will always be remembered.
See you in the Eucharist!
Love, Sue.

Uncle John
I was blessed with many wonderful Uncles. And when my Dad Carmine married Anne, I got you! I hope you know how much I loved and cared for you while on earth. Your smile was always inspirational, even through rough times for both of us. And you always made me feel special and welcomed. I am setting a place for you and me to dine up here in heaven and I* welcome you with a big kiss. Love, your niece, Cheryl

John gave these beautiful handmaid Easter bunnies to us years ago! He was very talented with his hands!
They have been displayed every Easter since. Everytime I look at them I will pray for John and remember the happy memories we made with him and Ann.
