Obituary of Edward Stanley Gruchacz

Edward Stanley Gruchacz, 66 Edward Stanley Gruchacz, "Big Ed", 66, of West Orange passed away suddenly on Friday February 20, 2015. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday February 26, 2015 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street in West Orange at 9:00AM. Then to Our Lady of the Valley Church, 510 Valley Road in Orange for the Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 3-7 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Ed's name to Our Lady of the Valley Church. Ed was born in Orange and was a lifelong resident of West Orange. He was an Industrial Engineer, working for the Federal Government in the Office of Inspector General in New York City. Big Ed was a model train enthusiast, an avid golfer and a coin collector. Ed was the beloved son of the late Veronica (nee Gola) and Benjamin Gruchacz. Devoted father of Christi Gruchacz. Loving brother of Irene Gruchacz and John Gruchacz. Cherished grandfather of Jonathan and Liberty.
