Earlie James Butler, III, 55
Earlie James Butler III, 55, of West Orange passed away on Monday, April 20, 2015 at Mountainside Hospital in Glen Ridge.
Funeral Services will be held 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Pleasantdale Presbyterian Church, 471 Pleasant Valley Way in West Orange. Entombment will follow at Restland Memorial Park in East Hanover. Visitation will be held at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street in West Orange on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Earlie was born at Fort Benning and grew up in Columbus, Georgia. He then moved to New York City to pursue an acting career before moving to West Orange in 1989. Mr. Butler was the top sales person at Minolta and Cannon for multiple years. Later in his career he became the sole proprietor of Document Integration Technologies in West Orange. Earlie was a member of the History Club at Caldwell College, the West Orange African Heritage and the Chamber of Commerce.
Earlie was the beloved husband of Linda Cheryl (Batson) Butler for 33 years. A devoted father of Michelle Butler Hay and her husband Matthew Hay, and Kimberly Sade Butler. Loving brother of Michael Lewis Butler and Keith Marcel Butler. Cherished grandfather of Ethan and Isaac Hay. He is also survived by one niece and many cousins.
