Obituary of John Joseph Allen

John "Jay" Joseph Allen Jr., 66 John "Jay" Allen Jr., of Greensboro, North Carolina, passed away on Saturday June 13, 2015. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday, June 22, 2015 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1 Eagle Rock Ave. in West Orange at 9:30 AM. Cremation will be private. Visiting will be held on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. Jay was born in Newark and raised in East Orange, living in Florham Park and Little Falls before moving to Greensboro, North Carolina in 2006. He was a Real Estate Appraiser, owning and operating Allen Appraisal Associates in NC. Jay was a past member of the Parsippany Elks. Jay is survived by his son, John J. Allen, and his sister Valerie Cheek.
