Obituary of Susan Wright

Susan Wright, 61 Susan "Sue" Wright, (nee Tranchetti), 61, of West Orange passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2015. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street in West Orange at 9:00 AM, then to St. Joseph's Church, 44 Benvenue Ave. in West Orange for the Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Montclair. Visiting will be held on Friday from 4 to 8 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Sue's name to; The ARC of Essex County, 123 Naylon Ave., Livingston, NJ 07039. Sue was born in Newark and raised in Cedar Grove. She moved to West Orange in 1976, where she became a well-loved member of the community. Sue graduated from Cedar Grove Memorial High School and Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School, and also completed course work at William Patterson College. She was a well-respected worker for the Port Authority of NY & NJ before becoming a dedicated, full-time homemaker and caregiver for her children. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph's Church, volunteered for many years with The Stepping Stones School, was active with the Arc of Essex County, and a long time member of the Rock Spring Club in West Orange. Sue was the beloved wife of 40 years this coming May to Richard "Rick" Wright, cherished daughter of Mary Tranchetti and the late Edward Tranchetti, devoted mother of William "Billy" Wright and Meredith Wright. Sue was the loving sister of the late Patricia Tucker, and is also survived by many cousins, aunts and uncles, and friends.
