Obituary of Therese Frances Rooney

Therese Frances Rooney, 81 Therese Frances Rooney, (nee Jablonski), 81, of West Orange NJ, passed away on Thursday October 29, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. A celebration of her life will be held at Saint John's Roman Catholic Church Ridge Road in Orange on Tuesday November 3, 2015 at 10:00 AM. Cremation will be private. Visitation will be held on Monday from 4-8 PM at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street in West Orange. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to the American Heart Association, 1 Union Street Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691-4183. . Born in Orange, Therese was a lifelong resident of West Orange. Therese was the devoted wife of the late William Rooney. Loving mother to Terri Mathikolonis and her husband Aristos, Brian Rooney, and the late Kevin Rooney and his wife Diane. Devoted sister to MaryEllen Smith and William Jablonski. Grandmother to Tiffani, Andreas and Alexandra. Therese was a devoted teacher in Saint John's School for 25 years. She was teacher of The Year in 1996, a member of Saint John's Rosary Altar Society as well as being active doing Fund Raisers for Saint John's School.
